Our Year 8 students are sitting the ESSA Test which is a Science test run on similar lines to SNAP and ELLA. The students will receive written results in the near future.
The Secondary exams for Years 7, 8 and 9 will be held on Thursday and Friday of this week. Please encourage your children to do some revision each evening in preparation for these examinations.
All primary students from Year 2 through to Year 5 will be attending a soccer clinic held here at the school. We hope to introduce this sport into our curriculum next year.
Our Year 5/6 Debating Team will debate against Yerong Creek on Thursday in the Semi-Final of the Lions Club Debating Competition. Their topic is “that the media promotes a selfish lifestyle”. Our team is stating that this is the case.
Last night we welcomed the parents of our 2008 Kindergarten students to our school. We hope that this is the beginning of a long and happy association with The Rock Central.
