On Tuesday twenty-one secondary students along with Mrs Donoghue will travel to Henty to see what the Field Day has to offer.

During the first week of next term our Year 10 students will be travelling to Wagga to take part in the Rotary Youth Driver Awareness Program which is being sponsored by the local Rotary Clubs. Due to this generous sponsorship this program will be free of charge.

After weeks of practice the big week has finally arrived. Almost all of our students Year 3 to Year 6 will be taking part in the Combined Schools Choral Festival Tuesday and Thursday night at the Civic Theatre. A reminder that the sausage sizzle that was due to be held today has been postponed to next Tuesday, 25th September. This is because of the number of students who are out of the school today.

Our Secondary Students travelled to Wagga last week to take part in the Soccer Gala Day. They had quite a successful day with two wins and a draw. Well done!

Last Friday we held an out of uniform day to raise funds for the SRC. The day took a different tack this time with the students being out of uniform and the staff being “in uniform”. It was a great day with all members of our school community participating.

Work Experience gives Year 10 students the opportunity to gain an understanding of the world of work. Not only does it offer “experience” it also gives students confidence as they face life beyond school.

The primary students have been busy taking part in the Premier’s Spelling Challenge. Congratulations to the four students who will now go on to represent our school in the district finals which will be held on Wednesday, 26th September.

Due to the fact that we will have a large number of students out of the school next week, the fortnightly sausage sizzle has been postponed until Tuesday, 25th September.
