The dates for the trial school certificate are Thursday 20th and Friday 21st September.

Our school is collecting old unused mobile phones. Drop them in to the Office or Rockmart.

Year 10 is holding a Father’s Day Raffle to be drawn on 31st August. There are 3 great prizes including TV, movie pass, dinner, esky, drinks.

Students are to come dressed as book characters for the day on 6th September. Book Week parade will take place at 2:15pm.

Congratulations to our Year 7/8 Debating Team. Today they debated against Junee High and proved that “the city is the place to be”. Well done and a special thank you to T Chaplin who very ably filled in as second speaker at the last minute.

Our Primary Students are now very much into their preparations for the Combined Choral Festival which is being held in Wagga on the evenings of the 18th and 20th September. Our Chess Team will be challenging Wagga High on Wednesday, 29th August. We wish these young people the best of luck.

Our Primary Athletics Team travels to Albury on Friday to take part in the Riverina PSSA Athletics Carnival. The two relay teams have been training very hard and I believe they have got their baton changes “down pat.” Good luck to all those involved.

Congratulations to B Holden of Year 6 who has been selected as a member of the Riverina Softball Team to play in the State PSSA Softball Carnival next week.

A Fellows will be taking part in the Riverina & Western NSW Inter-Regional Finals of the Multicultural Perspectives Public Speaking Competition.
