Visit from the Director General

Secondary Parent/Teacher Evening

Tomorrow evening the secondary staff will be available for interviews between 5pm and 7pm. If you have not already done so please complete the form and return it to school so that you can be allotted a time to speak with your child’s teacher.

Basic Skills

 Next Tuesday, 31st July the Basic Skills Writing Test will take place and this is to be followed by the Basic Skills Literacy/Numeracy Test on Thursday, 2nd August. These tests are for students in Years 3 and 5 and it is important that these children are at school on these two days.

Chess

The Chess team will be in action again on Thursday. This match is against Mount Austin High and we wish them the best of luck in their endeavours.

Aussie Rules

On Friday our Primary Aussie Rules Team will travel to Wagga to take part in the Tony Lockett Shield. We wish these boys the best of luck.

Life Education Van

Our primary/infants students are privileged to be able to attend the Life Education Van, or Healthy Harold as the little ones call it, on Thursday and Monday. This is an excellent program and I am sure the children will benefit greatly from it.

Debating

Next week both our Stage 4 and Stage 5 debating teams will be in action . The Stage 4 team will debate against Kooringal High on Tuesday and the Stage 5 will pit their wits against Wagga High on Thursday. We wish both these teams the best of luck.

Secondary Zone Athletics

On Friday our Secondary Athletics Team will travel to Albury to take part in the Zone Athletics Carnival. The team will be accompanied by Mr Prescott and we wish them all a great day.
