It was a very busy week last week with our Year 10 students sitting for their School Certificate Examinations. This week they are out in the Business World at Work Experience. Our sincere thanks to all those business houses who have welcomed our students. 
  

Secondary Exams

 Exams for Year 7/8 and 9 commence next Monday. The timetable is attached to this newsletter and we strongly encourage the students to spend some time each night doing revision. Late as it might be, it’s never too late! 
  

Sausage Sizzle

  The fortnightly sausage sizzle will be  held again tomorrow. The money already raised from the sausage sizzles has gone towards subsidising excursion costs in all sections of our school. Vandalism

Unfortunately we have had quite a spat of vandalism at our school over the last two to three weeks. Please keep your eyes open and if you happen to see someone on the school premises please inform the police.

Secondary on Show

  You are all invited to come along to the school on Tuesday, 5th December when we will be showcasing our Secondary Department.   This evening is open to all parents and friends of the school along with anyone who may be interested in seeing the many opportunities that we offer to our Secondary Students.

 Our Year 10 students will sit the School Certificate Exams next week.  We wish them every success as they face this milestone in their educational journey.
The timetable for the exams is as follows:
 Monday 13 November:
             English    9.20 – 11.30 a.m.
             Science  12.40 –   3.00 p.m.
 Tuesday 14 November:
             Mathematics    9.20 – 11.30 a.m.

  Claiming the Date
 
Next year is the year of our next ‘big”  excursion for students from Year 5 to Year 10. Our planned destination for next year is Tasmania and the tentative date is 20th September, 2007. More information will be forthcoming when dates and costing have been finalised.
