EAA Science & Mathematics

A reminder: The closing date for these competitions is Friday 31st March. Students wishing to enter should place $6.60 per test in an envelope with their name, year and test/s to be entered clearly marked on the front. This envelope should be handed to the school office. No late entries can be accepted.

Secondary Parent Teacher Evening

A small but enthusiastic group of secondary parents attended our Secondary Parent/Teacher evening last week. Please remember that our door is always open. A quick visit to the school can often dispel lots of anxiety.

Cross Country & Sausage Sizzle

Due to a clash of dates the school Cross Country event will now be held on Tuesday, 4th April commencing at 11:00am. This will be followed by a sausage sizzle at a cost of $1 for a sausage in bread and $1:50 for a can of drink.

Senior Citizens

Next Wednesday, 5th April our Food Class will be entertaining the Senior Citizens at Morning Tea in the Science room. Members of the Class of 1943 will also be attending and I am sure along with our other Senior Citizens will have lots of tales to tell.

Primary Touch

Congratulations to both our Primary Boys and Primary Girls Touch Teams who were successful in defeating Tolland Public School in the first round of the State Knockout Competition. The boys will be playing Sturt Public School in the next round but at this point in time we do not know who the girls will play.

SCHOOL FUNDRAISER WEEKEND - CANCELLATION

Thank you to all those who indicated they wished to participate in this fundraiser. Unfortunately, not enough people paid their deposits by the due date (last Friday), and I have been forced to cancel the ticket and accommodation bookings. Refunds will be forthcoming to those who have paid deposits.

Primary Touch

On Friday our Primary Touch Teams both Boys and Girls will be playing in their first round of the State Knockout. Both these matches are against Tolland Public School and will be played at Jubilee Park in Wagga. We wish both of these teams the very best of luck.

Young Leaders in Sydney

It has been pleasing to note that many students are receiving Horizon Awards from their teachers. Students are reminded that they must verify their Horizon Awards with their Year Advisor within the next two weeks in order to receive Sunrise Awards at the next Whole School Assembly.

Sausage Sizzle

The next sausage sizzle fund raiser will be held Wednesday, 22nd March. Sausage and bread $1, drink $1:50 The last one was a great success raising in the vicinity of $500.
