Year 8 will be studying poetry for term 2, 2008.
Students are studying a selection of poets from The Oxford Book of Children’s Poetry.The text is issued in class and students are completely responsible for the care of this book.
Assessments this term will be a personal poetry book (due TBA) and the half yearly exams (TBA).

Year 7 English are studying fiction in term 2, 2008.
The novel to be studied is Hitler’s Daughter by Jackie French.
There will be two assessments this term: the autobiography (due Wed, April 30) and the half yearly assessment (TBA).

Year 9 are continuing on with their non-fiction study.
The novel for study this term is Anna’s Story by Bronwyn Donaghy.
Assessments for this term will be a choice of creating at least one text type in response to the book (due TBA) and the half yearly exams.
