Word Tools - Selection and Find and Replace
Open the document we were working on last Computer Skills lesson, the one about the Socceroos. You should find it in the edupublic (P:) drive in the Year 9/10 CompSkills folder.
Read and understand the tutorials titled “Word - Selecting Text” and “Word - Find and Replace”. Then do the following.
- Use the “Find and Replace” feature to replace the former Socceroos coach’s name Guus Hidding with the new coach’s name Graham Arnold.
- From the File menu, click “Page Setup” and change the orientation to “Landscape”
- As described in the “Selecting Text” tutorial, triple click in the selection area to select all.
- On the Standard Toolbar use the column icon to create 3 columns.

- In the edupublic (P:) drive you’ll find a pic of Mark Viduka, insert, resize and wrap text around the image.
- Search and insert a soccer ClipArt.
When you’ve finished your document should look something like this…

Save it then email it to me as an attachment at mark.gilham1@education.nsw.gov.au
